EPISODE 51

51 Rebecca A.jpg

Dragged from broadcasting house, television celebrity Kenneth Foreman joins James to talk about events with a true A-lister on the scene. Rebecca Elcome has done it all, working her way up from intern to director at some of the country’s biggest charities and setting up on her own.

We learn the secrets to good packing, how to have confidence in your own abilities and why eventers are the most passionate members of the sector. The nice folder gets another mention, there’s a shout out for support teams, the benefits of flexible working and why we should be trusting our teams to do so. James makes a bold claim to be more of a rebel, we find out how the best committees grew out of coffee shops and discover how we financed our trip to Amsterdam last year. Mentoring, three-month plans and the small matter of gender inequality get an airing.

We have a couple of episodes stored if we need to self-isolate, but for now we’re chatting about getting together and the numerous benefits that brings.
